About
DEDICATED TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL PERSONALIZED CARE
I’m an Adult Psychiatrist with a fellowship on Forensic Psychiatry. I am licensed to practice in both Illinois and New York, and I maintain an active and current DEA registration, which authorizes me to prescribe controlled substances in accordance with regulatory standards required for clinical practice. I have ten years of experience in treating chronic and acute mental illness. My experience was dedicated to the Veteran population, treating a wide range of Mood Disorders, Psychotic disorders, PTSD and behavioral changes in patients who were injured in combat.
I have extensive experience treating complex and treatment-resistant cases; Bipolar disorder, Major Depression, Schizophrenia, Anxiety disorders, and eating disorders, particularly in veterans with military sexual trauma. I implement clozapine therapy, recognized as the gold standard for treatment-resistant schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, and the only FDA-approved medication for reducing suicidal behavior in these conditions.
I have managed a wide range of neuropsychiatric conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and frontotemporal dementia and provided expertise in multidisciplinary pain clinics as the primary Psychiatrist and offered non opioid pain management. These cases required careful medication selection and close collaboration with interdisciplinary providers. My approach emphasizes comprehensive care coordination.
Take the first step toward better mental health. I'm here to support you, every step of the way.
With ten years of dedicated psychiatric care, I provide evidence-based treatment and genuine compassion to help you heal, grow, and reclaim your well-being.
