Welcome to CALMMD.
Welcome to CALMMD. My approach to psychiatric care combines medical expertise with genuine human connection. I believe that effective treatment begins with understanding each person’s unique story, experiences, and goals. Whether you are seeking help for depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, or other mental health concerns, my goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care in a safe and supportive environment.
Taking the first step toward mental wellness can be difficult. I am honored to partner with my patients on that journey and look forward to helping you achieve your treatment goals.
My treatment Philosophy
Providing Compassionate, Evidence-Based Psychiatric Care.
My treatment philosophy is rooted in collaboration, respect, and evidence-based care. I work closely with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their values, goals, and individual circumstances. I believe mental health treatment should empower individuals to regain stability, improve quality of life, and achieve meaningful personal growth. Psychiatric treatment begins with understanding the whole person—not just a diagnosis. My goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care that helps patients regain stability, improve functioning, and build meaningful lives.

Your questions, answered
Frequently asked questions
01 How do I know which service is right for me?
I offer a free 15-minute consultation where I'll listen to your story and struggles, and together we'll put together a plan that's best suited to you. From there, I'll schedule an initial diagnostic assessment (60–90 minutes). Prior to that appointment, you'll receive paperwork via email — including screening questionnaires, demographic information, and consent to initiate treatment.
02 Do you take insurance?
I'm not taking insurance at the moment — sessions are fee-for-service. You can pay after each session via Zelle, or we can hold a credit card on file. Your information is saved securely in your electronic medical records.
03 Are the sessions in person or remote?
All sessions are virtual. I offer secure video conferencing and phone options for unique situations, ensuring consistent support wherever you are. Video conferencing takes precedence over phone calls so I can accurately assess your mental status.
04 Will I receive an invoice for my records?
Absolutely. All services are documented with detailed invoices, which can be provided after each session.
05 What about missed appointments?
Please call or email at least 48 hours in advance to cancel an appointment. Appointments not cancelled in advance will be charged half the original fee ($200 for 60 minutes, $100 for 30 minutes), in the absence of a medical emergency.
